My freestyle vinyasa style is inspired by but much softer than ashtanga yoga however, I adapt the style to suit the group or individual. I teach everything from yin yoga in Bristol to full ashtanga classes and hatha.

I work with the ashtanga philosophy and incorporate mindfulness techniques and reiki thereby drawing on both the buddhist and hindu origins of yoga with added reiki power. At my yoga classes in Bristol and North Somerset, you will be guided through a session of pranayama (breathing), guided meditation, a flow of yoga poses and end with a relaxation session. All my yoga classes suitable for anyone from beginner to more advanced.

All you need is yourself, comfy stretchy clothes and a yoga mat (hooded tops are not a great idea as they tend to fall over your head when hanging upside down which us yoga peeps tend to do quite a lot).

I also offer guidance in meditation, healthy eating and regular practice at home and provide tools, tips and advice to assist you in reaching your goal.

Yoga is a beautiful way of finding peace and happiness within. 

We are often brought up focusing on our external environment; trying to bring things into our life that will make us feel happy whether that is improving our homes, going to nice bars and restaurants and buying nice things.  This can lead to added pressure to achieve and accumulate money, manifested in working in stressful jobs and leading stressful lives.

Yoga teaches us that all we need is already right here in a still pace inside of us.  We just need to learn to tap into it. You will find a beautiful unfolding of yourself as you delve into discovering the real you. You will find that you are beautiful and in the meantime, you’ll have fun!

You will find a new way of experiencing the world and learn about yourself in the process.  As you grow in confidence in your asana practice, so you will in other areas of your life. An asana is a container for an experience.  It is not an exercise for strengthening a particular muscle or muscle group.

An asana is a process, not a final product. Even when we are asleep, we are not still so where an asana begins and ends cannot be defined, it is merely a pause in the endless flowing movement of life.
