Yoga: A simple beautiful, reassuring meditation

If you are feeling sad or anxious, this is a brilliant way to find comfort within yourself. Come to sit down on your knees. Close your eyes and place your hands over your heart. Picture the beautiful love energy circling around your heart as green light. Now fold from the hips placing your forehead on the floor picturing your heart energy moving into the earth, delving down through its layers until it reaches a cave full of wonderful crystals at its centre. Feel the wonderful sparkling light moving into your heart. Turn your head to one side and place your cheek on the floor keeping your hands over your heart. Send gratitude to Mother Earth for her support. Place your forehead on the floor and stretch your arms overhead into extended child pose, picturing your heart energy returning back up from the centre of the earth. Sit up and bring your hands to heart centre in prayer and open your eyes when ready.
