Lifestyle: Les Miserables an epic and pertinent film

I watched Les Mis with Liam Neeson directed by Bille August last night in which Jean Valjean, a Frenchman imprisoned for stealing bread, must flee a police officer named Javert. The pursuit consumes both men’s lives, and soon Valjean finds himself in the midst of the student revolutions in France.

I had to say what an epic production it was. Authentic photography made me feel as though I’d stepped back in time except that our current political crisis is so relevant that it all seemed to be happening in the now.

This quote seemed so fitting I had to share it…
