Beauty: Chamomile, comfrey and coconut, a facial that takes your skin to a new level

If you’re looking for a facial to take your skin to a new level, I have good news ladies. This Chamomile Coconut and Comfrey Facial Scrub  (£7.99 for 80g) is my newest kid on the block.

A cleanser, scrub and moisturiser all in one, this natural beauty is begging to be set free on your skin.  Begin by gently spreading it on your skin in gentle circular motions, if you have the time, leave it on for two or three minutes giving it time to really penetrate before rinsing it off and either patting it dry with a towel or clean paper towel.

Perfect for sensitive, scarred and ageing skin, my facial scrub is full of skin goodness and smells absolutely divine.  Fine fair trade sugar will rub away any greyness and dead skin whilst the coconut provides a super deep moisturising treat to reveal a glossy, shiny, new you.
Coconut oil helps prevent the formation of free radicals which cause the skin to lose its elasticity. It also helps to stop the formation of spots, blemishes and damage caused by over-exposure to the sun.
German chamomile oil is mostly cultivated in Hungary, Egypt, Eastern Europe and France, while Roman chamomile is cultivated in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Morocco and France. To the Egyptians it was a herb dedicated to the sun, to cure fevers, and to the moon, for its cooling ability. It was also recognised as a soother of nervous complaints.

German chamomile contains azulene, a powerful anti-inflammatory agent which is amazing for many skin complaints, acne and scarring. This blue crystal is not actually present in the plant, but forms in the oil and only a small quantity is needed to be effective. Comfrey oil complements chamomile with its amazing properties which have similar benefits, reducing the appearance of bruises, scars and broken capillaries.
